Mysuru, formerly known as Mysore, was the previous capital city of the state of Karnataka, Southern India and is the second most populous city in this state. It is situated 140km southwest of Bengaluru, today’s capital of Karnataka.
Besides the yoga community, Mysuru is known by the Mysore Royal Palace; India’s first academic Ayurvedic Medical Institution established in 1908; Brindavan Gardens; the Sanskrit College and Chamundi Hills.
As one of the cleanest and best planned cities in India, Mysuru has a lot to offer when it comes to tourism. Mostly visited by yogis from all around the world who come to study with specific teacher.
We invite you to indulge your senses by exploring the city, take a rickshaw ride and enjoy the scent and warm breeze throughout the year, treat yourself with the worldly famous Mysore masala dosa, idli (steamed fermented lentil rice cakes) and many other tasty dishes which makes this place vegetarian’s paradise.
Our school has created a program with flexible schedule and relaxed approach, offering you comfort and unforgettable vacation while you’ll have the opportunity to learn something new. Our daily yoga classes, pranayama practices, meditation and philosophy lectures will help you improve the quality of your life, while regenerating every cell of your being.
During the Yoga Vacation as part of the 100Hr Teacher training course, we offer optional classes of Philosophy/Anatomy with the addition of one free Ayurvedic massage, weekend guided tours, and 3 daily meals. You will be accommodated in Shared or private room with en-suite bathroom and a/c.

9am – 10.30am Breakfast
11am – 1pm (Optional) Anatomy/Philosophy
1pm – 3pm Lunch/Massages
3pm – 5pm Teaching methodology
5.30pm – 6.30pm (Optional) Meditation

First Weekend
Saturday afternoon : Mysore palace visit -> Art gallery -> Chamundi hill visit -> big bull statue
Sunday : Historical city Sriranga patna -> Melukote.
Second Weekend
Saturday afternoon : Mysore famous oldest market -> Brindavan Gardens
Sunday : Dubare elephant tour & Tibetan refugee camp visit.
Please note : Saturday dinner & Sunday meals should be bear by yoga vacationer.
Osho Glimpse School of yoga provides accommodations for our yoga vacationers interested in enjoying Mysore and its magic. Spacy and clean rooms, providing the required privacy as well as comfort, contributing to overall miraculous experience.

All along the year the temperature in Mysore varies from 15 to 32 Degrees, which makes it ideal place to choose for your vacation no matter of the season.
Summer (April-May): 32 degrees
Rainy (June-Sep): 25 Degrees With moderate rain
Winter (Oct-Dec):- Peak season with pleasant temperature from 15-25 degree
Spring (Jan-March): Temperature from 24 – 30 degree
Mysore Dusshera is one of the most famous festival in India, it lasts for 10 days and is celebrated during October. First nine days are dedicated for Navaratri celebrations. The last, tenth day a big attractive parade is arranged with decorated majestic elephants, decorated horses, soldiers, folk dancers, nobles, and courtiers.
